Who We Are

The UntitledTown Board of Directors have a diverse background in the literary arts, community development, event planning, arts education, international and cultural studies, and business.

Rebecca Meacham, Co-President. Rebecca is the Director of the Creative Writing program and Professor of English and Humanities at University of Wisconsin—Green Bay. A book reviewer and occasional blogger, Rebecca is the author of two award-winning story collections, including Let’s Do, a Barnes & Noble “Discover Great New Writers” selection.

Amy Mazzariello, Co-President. Amy is the Event Planner & Book Buyer at the Reader’s Loft bookstore in Bellevue, Wisconsin. Amy began her career 18 years ago at Powell’s Books while living in Oregon. She is also a five-year member of the authors committee for the Fox Cities Book Festival.

Derrick Holt, Vice-President. An audio professional, Derrick teaches digital audio skills and techniques to youth while maintaining a consistent presence in both the Green Bay arts community and the Milwaukee music scene. Born and raised in Milwaukee, he now lives in Green Bay.

Maria Konkel, Treasurer. Maria is the Assistant Vice President of Treasury Management at Nicolet National Bank. A former editor of the St. Norbert College Times newspaper and Graphos literary magazine, Maria also was a member of the International English Honors Society, graduating with a degree in English and Creative Writing.

Mai J. Lo Lee is the Director of the Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA) Office at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. Born in the Ban Vinai Holding Center in the Loei Province of northeastern Thailand, Mai was raised in Central Wisconsin and now lives in Appleton. Mai holds degrees in education, creative writing and advertising.

Cristina Ortiz is a professor of Spanish and Latin American literatures and Global Studies at the University of Wisconsin—Green Bay, where she chairs the Modern Languages program. She is the author of numerous studies on the literatures and cinemas of the Spanish speaking world.

Jerod Santek is the Executive Director of Write On, Door County. He serves on the board of AWP (Association of Writers and Writing Programs) and on the Wisconsin Poet Laureate Commission, along with several local boards. He has published poetry, fiction, and nonfiction in a number of print and online literary journals and magazines.

UntitledTown is a nonprofit 501c3 cultural organization registered in the great state of Wisconsin.
